We are all delighted to be back in school and looking forward to a fun filled term ahead.
The Sunflower class enjoyed many pre-Christmas celebrations in School. The visit of the Army band had us all dancing and singing along. The Army band played some classic Christmas songs which the children really enjoyed.
Santa also made a special visit to our school to see all the children. The children had a great welcome for Santa and welcomed him with smiles and hugs. Santa gave a little gift to the students and put all the children on his good list.
We are concentrating on the theme of space this month and the children have completed some lovely artwork. The Children have painted some rockets and completed a lovely art class display featuring this theme.
We also have been looking at the topic of play. We have looked at toys from the past and toys from the presents. The children have spent time exploring various toys and picked their favourites. We also made some playdough which we used in a sensory session. We are all looking forward to the longer brighter days ahead and exploring lots of new activities along the way.
