Rose Class

Hello and welcome back to another update from the Rose Class!
We have been very busy in the Rose class since returning from our Hallowe’en break.
We have been learning all about the season of Winter. We have learnt a lot about ‘the robin’. We made birdfeeders which was so much fun! We have read lovely Winter poems and we are singing Winter songs during circle time.
We have had lots of fun with music, drama, and art class.
Our favourite sensory story so far has been ‘Santa and his little elves’. We love music and singing along. In art it has been very hands on. We have made some beautiful Christmas crafts. Shortly we will be starting to make our Christmas cake in cookery with Cathrina!
In Maths, we have been working very hard learning about our numbers and colours. Our colour of the month was Red, we enjoyed listening to our red colour song and looking in the red colour bag daily. We love colour of the month activities.
The festive season has begun! We have created a beautiful Santa’s grotto in school where Santa will come and visit us soon! We are so excited; we cannot wait to meet Santa! The Army Band will also come and visit us!
We are thrilled to say that we came in first place in the Credit Union art competition, proudly displaying our creative skills!
We are looking forward to more exciting learning and fun next term.
Happy Christmas and a very Happy New Year from everyone in the Rose Class!
