Rose Class

Hello and welcome back From the Rose Class.

It has been an exciting term for us all. We have been busy learning all about Valentine’s Day. We made some artwork and listened to some Valentine’s Day stories. We also practised our writing skills. We have enjoyed getting outside when the sun is shining and looking for signs of Spring.

In Math, we have been working very hard learning about our numbers, shapes and colours. This month’s colour was Pink and we practised our Lámh signs for the weather. We were busy in the kitchen this term making buns, brownies and cakes. The best part was tasting our creations.

We had a visit from the Whistle Blast Quartet who played some beautiful pieces of music for our whole school and we have been keeping fit with the help of Damien from Westmeath Sports Partnership.

We are looking forward to more exciting learning and fun this term where we will be exploring all about Spring and St. Patrick’s Day. We will be making colourful pictures in Art and enjoying some stories about Spring.

Spring has sprung in the Rose Class.
