What a fantastic day we had!!
Our pupils were invited to visit the RNLI Lifeboat station in Coosan Point. From there we were delighted to hop aboard the Lough Ree Access For All boat. We all thoroughly enjoyed the spin up the river. We tucked into delicious Supermacs food when we returned.
We would wholeheartedly like to thank Sgt. Paul Kelly & Garda Stacey Looney for organising the event. To DPD Athlone for sponsoring the Event and to Catherina & Annmarie who joined us on the day. To the Lough Ree Access For All Crew Members who were fantastic with our pupils, the RNLI Volunteer Crew, Niamh Herraghty, Chairperson of IWAI for getting us access to the IWAI building and to Supermacs for keeping us all fed.
We appreciate all you did for us 👏
