Wow! What a term! The saying “time flies when you are having fun” has never felt more fitting. We have had such a busy term, and are ready for our summer break. In April, the QQI external examiner came to look at all of our hard work and we are very please with the results! Well done to everyone, their hard work has really paid off.
May brought with it the good weather, so we got out on lots of walks and activities outside. We could relax a bit more, but we did some work too! We had Wellbeing Week and enjoyed a boat trip, sound bath, trip to the playground and many more activities. Our class organised sensory stations for the rest of the school, and everyone really enjoyed that day.
Bryan represented our school in a Special Olympics athletic event in Galway and came home with a gold and a silver medal. We are incredibly proud of him, well done.
We also had our school tour to The Viking Boat and we had Supermacs afterwards. It was a great day out.
Our graduation mass was held on 11th June and this was a lovely occasion. We will really miss Arman and Cathal as they progress to their adult services. The school won’t be the same without them, but we wish them all the best.
Enjoy the summer, everyone!
