It has been a wonderful term in Buttercup Class, filled with lots of learning, creativity, and celebrations. This term, we were excited to celebrate Hayden’s 16th birthday and John’s 18th birthday – a big Happy Birthday to them both! In our lessons, we have been learning about numbers and fractions, building our confidence and practising our maths skills. We have also been working on our personal care, developing independence and important life skills.
Cooking and baking continue to be some of our favourite activities – everyone enjoys making and tasting the delicious treats we create together. We also love going to collect the post, which has become a special part of our daily routine. In art, we have been exploring the technique of pointillism and have created some beautiful, colourful pieces. In music, we wrote our very own song about the things we like and dislike, which was great fun to perform and share.
We are looking forward to Halloween and learning all about Autumn – the changing colours, the cooler weather, and all the exciting celebrations that come with it. We are so proud of everything the Buttercup Class has achieved this term and can’t wait to see what next term brings!
