Buttercups

Buttercups

We have had a brilliant year this year in the Buttercup Class, and can’t believe that we have come to the end of it. This term has been a busy one. We enjoyed our school tour to Turoe Pet Farm, especially the large bouncy castle. Everyone had such a good time and it was a great way to unwind after all of our hard work.

We all successfully completed two modules for our QQI level 1 and received our certificates for these. Lee also completed Level 3 Breakfast Cookery and we are very proud of him!

We had Wellbeing Week, which was a really enjoyable week for staff and pupils. Ray travelled from England to put on a sensational display with bubbles. We got to explore different bubble mixes and had a great time. We also got to experience drumming with Neil and we showed off our rhythm! We also enjoyed treats from Supermacs and the ice-cream van. Britt came and gave us a really relaxing sound bath. Overall, it was a lovely way to wind down towards the end of the year.

Three of our pupils are finishing with us this year and we had a lovely graduation celebration for them. We will really miss Lee, Áine and Festus and wish them all the best in the years to come.
