Happy New Year from the Buttercup Class! We all had a lovely, relaxing time over the Christmas break and came back to school refreshed and ready to learn!
We have been busy working on our QQI folders. We are working hard on our breakfast cookery. So far in 2024, we have made a full Irish breakfast and we have been perfecting our scrambled eggs. It feels good to be able to do this for ourselves.
We are really enjoying our ceramics for QQI and find our pottery time really relaxing and enjoyable. Before Christmas we made our own decorations and tealight holders. We are now working on a group project and we can see our pottery skills improving as the weeks go on.
We love this crisp, cold weather and try to get out for fresh air and walks whenever we can. We enjoy wrapping up and going for a walk to look for signs of winter.
