THE LILY CLASS
Welcome to the Lily class. Since returning from Halloween holidays, we have been very busy. We did a project on homes in November and for December the themes have been Winter and Christmas, we have completed lots of beautiful art to compliment this.
The children have enjoyed lots of lovely baking including rocky road, chocolate brownies, banana muffins and some gorgeous pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed. We also had lots of sensory play where we had lots of fun making our own play dough and slime which was a big hit with the whole class.
We went out for a nice winter walk where we saw the trees changing from Autumn to winter and talked about the change of seasons. We then completed our winter trees in art.
We have worked hard in maths class too on measures such as money, time, length, and weight. We enjoy shape and space and made fabulous homes from magnets for our projects.
We celebrated Arman’s 16th birthday with a party in class with all his friends. There was cake and lots of treats and everyone had a great time.
The children are now all looking forward to Christmas, we made some lovely decorations and decorated a beautiful tree in our classroom, The children have also completed lots of Christmas pictures and cards for their families.
