Primroses

Welcome back to the Primrose Class!

We have been so busy learning all about Summer and enjoying the sunshine with our friends. We've been listening to cheerful songs about the sunny season and taking part in so many fun and exciting activities!

One of the highlights of this term was Wellbeing Week. We had an amazing time with sensory experiences, music, swimming, delicious ice-cream treats, and so much more. It truly was a joyful and memorable week for everyone.

We've also been on some fantastic outings, including an enjoyable boat ride on the River Shannon with the RNLI volunteers. We even got to sit on an RNLI lifeboat and had a tasty treat from Supermacs! The kind boat captains made sure we had the best time, and we are so grateful to the RNLI for giving us such a special experience. National Bike Week was a blast too! We had so much fun riding bikes with our friends and were lucky to have beautiful weather throughout. We are really looking forward to our school tour, where we will be enjoying a trip on the local link to the Planet for some fun in the soft play area!

This term, we've also loved learning about summer and exploring ‘Under the Sea’. We are reading and enjoying The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister and have been busy creating some amazing under-the-sea art displays. Our classroom has been filled with cheerful songs about beach trips, adding to the fun atmosphere.

We are kept busy with fun art projects such as heartfelt Father’s Day cards to thank our dads for all that they do, as well as beautiful under the sea and beach themed displays. Throughout the term, we’ve been working hard on our Language and Communication skills, using Lámh signs and PECS during our daily routines, especially at circle time. We've also enjoyed pre-writing and colouring activities.

As the summer holidays draw near, we’re still keeping busy and making the most of every day.

That’s all our news for now,

From the wonderful Primrose Class 🌼
