Primroses

Primroses

Welcome back. We are delighted to be back in school. We are all so excited to be back and see all the children. The children have adapted well to the new schedule and are enjoying time with their friends.

It was fantastic to see so many happy faces back last Thursday. Everyone settled back into the new routine so well. We are looking at the topic of The Farm and learning all about the Farmer for February. We will also be looking at the topic of Spring and all the wonderful new things that come and start to change in Spring. Some of the class had great fun decorating lovely Valentine cards for their parents last week. They decorated the cards with love and lots of hearts.

The children are really enjoying P.E and are back completing various fun walks and games. The weather is getting warmer and we like to explore our surroundings here in school to observe some of the changes happening this spring.

We could not let pancake Tuesday pass without marking it. The children enjoyed cookery in the kitchen. We enjoyed all the mixing, sieving and baking and also got the opportunity to taste the recipe. Yummy!!

We are really looking forward to doing some planting in the Primrose class. We will plant seeds in individual pots and the children will water their plants regularly and monitor their growth. We all looking forward to longer and brighter days ahead.
