Sunflowers

We are now in the summer term, and the students have been enjoying a variety of activities to celebrate the season.

The highlight of the term so far was a wonderful boat trip from Coosan Point, which all the students thoroughly enjoyed. The beautiful sunshine has added to the joy of our days, with everyone making the most of the warm weather. The students have been spending lots of time outdoors, whether it’s playing in the playground, exploring nature, or simply soaking up the sunshine.

We also celebrated a whole week dedicated to wellbeing, which was packed with a variety of fun and engaging activities. The students loved taking part in calming sound baths, which provided a sensory-rich and relaxing experience. Music sessions were another big hit, with everyone joining in to sing, dance, and experiment with different instruments.

A favourite activity for many was the sensory stations day, where students explored a range of sensory experiences. From tactile activities to visual and auditory stimulation, everyone participated with excitement and curiosity. Sports activities in the playground were also a highlight, giving the students a chance to be active and enjoy the outdoors.

It’s been a term full of fun, laughter, and wonderful memories. We’re looking forward to even more exciting activities as the summer continues!
