Its summer! We are all super excited here in the sunflower class for summertime. We have been so busy getting active on the brighter days.
We have recently enjoyed several trips to the sensory room in the local library. The children really enjoy getting out and about. They especially enjoy the bright light, sensory toys and large storybooks to explore in the library. The children enjoy the walk up and observing all the signs of summer.
We are currently enjoying a host of activities as part of well-being week. The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit from the Bubble man. The children got to make, play with, and burst bubbles in the playground on a lovely summer day. The children had a drumming session where they all got to explore a variety of drums. They also got to listen to the different sounds made by the drums.
The visit from the ice-cream was a big hit and We all got to enjoy some tasty treats.
We also got to enjoy a memorable graduation ceremony for our four graduates, and We got to celebrate the retirement of Bernie and Loretta.
We are looking forward to wrapping up the year completing out lovely Father’s Day card and hope for lots more sunshine along the way.
