Over the past couple of months, the tulip class has been busy working on the short course Looking Good, Feeling Great. We've really enjoyed exploring different aspects of well-being, both inside and outside the classroom. As part of this, we took lovely trips to the Harvest Café and Poppy Fields Café, enjoyed some fun at the playground, and looked forward to our swimming sessions each Friday for four weeks – a real highlight for everyone!
We’ve also been working on our Level 1 Learning Programme (L1LP) through the 6 PLU elements, where we’ve been developing important life skills in areas like communication, numeracy and the arts! One of the big highlights of the term was our school tour – we had an amazing time on the Viking Boat Tour and enjoyed a special treat with a trip to Supermac's afterwards!
Another memorable part of the term was Well-Being Week – we took part in lots of enjoyable activities, and the ice cream treat was a firm favourite! It’s been a fun, active and very enjoyable year for everyone in our class, and we’re all now looking forward to the summer holidays and a well-earned rest.
